Hi doll, I read your comment on that girl's blog & I have a '' diet '' blog as well. I'm eating arounf 1000 calories a day but I wouldn't mind upping that a bit and I read you've lost quite a bit of weight doing it the healthy way. May I ask you how exactly that was ? It would be really helpful if you could help since it seems like something you wouldn't mind doing. xx
Hello there :] It took a while for me to lose the weight, but in the long term, it benefited me well. The biggest step was turning vegan, and eating as organic as i can. Cutting out all the processed meat and fattening dairy from my diet almost immediately made a difference. Though I can understand that giving it all up can be hard at first, in the long run, you don’t miss it. Another thing, eat complex carbs- they give you the energy to exercise and run your body properly. wholegrain breads, fruit, veggies, quinoa, raw nuts, brown rice, beans, lentil, wholegrain pasta, etc. The main reason people get fat from carbs is because they eat the “simple”, processed ones- white bread, white rice, white sugar, white flour etc. YOU CAN EAT CARBS AND FRUIT!! eat until your heart’s content. and nevermind the theory that fruit is full of sugar- it alkalizes in your stomach. it’s the perfect thing for your body. fuck counting calories. if it’s healthy, with no preservatives and derived from nature, eat your heart out. exercise 30-50 mins a day, 5 days a week. include pilates and/or weight training if you can. don’t overdo it, you’ll destroy your metabolism. drink a ton of water everyday, and include herbal teas into your drinking routine. stop drinking coffee and soda. they are liquid satan. Never trust anything that says “fat free” or “sugar free”. they really mean “chemical shitstorm”.
another thing, you can still bask in acceptable junk food on the odd occasion, as long as it’s vegan, made with natural products, etc. i still eat banana bread and all! it’s all about balancing and rewarding.
i recommend you buy “Skinny Bitch”. it’s the book that changed my life, and taught my alot about my eating habits. Hope this helps! sorry if i went on for too long! xx
I'm Theodore. I liked your post about the thinspo girls. I admit I post more than my fair share of photos, but I agree to disliking all that bitching (pardon my language) nonsense many of them do, especially when the solution is pretty easy. So, yeah, I'm with you on that.
By the way ms. tea addict, what sorts of tea do you like? ^_^
hello there, i’m Yaz :] yeah it just frustrates me to see how blind these girls can be. society has unfortunately painted an ugly picture into these girls’ (and boys’) minds. i can understand the dream of being thin, but there’s a healthier and literally better tasting way to get there.
and i’m addicted to every tea i have so far indulged in! :D english breakfast, earl grey, chai and soy, mint, green, strawberry, rose, jasmine, taro, green apple, etc… even chocolate tea! haha are you a tea addict, too??
they think that not eating and raping your metabolism is the right way to get skinny. but then i read 99% of their blogs about their constant binge sprees, and how they feel “fat” and “useless”.
hmm. maybe if you just eat the RIGHT foods- and alot of them- maybe you wouldn’t have a problem, no? i have my own weight disorders, but at least i combat it with a bit of morality, and know my foods in and out.
Day 7: your zodiac sign and if you think it fits your personality.
GEMINI - The Twin
there’s possibly only a few things that match me to ‘being’ a Gemini. I listen, I’m a passionate lover, I don’t take shit from anyone, and I’m too generous for my own good. I also love making out. and other stuff. tsk tsk.
but i don’t believe that every Gemini is the same as it states on the horoscope. we’re all different. some people i know are quiet, and some can’t keep their mouths shut. some are trustworthy, some will stab you in the back… you get the picture, yea.
